I just saw the cheesecloth there and thought why not...the old salt shaker also might do it depending on the size of the holes... If that didn't work, you could place the cheesecloth over the top of the shaker and go from there, too...or any container.

Thanks for the heads up on this product, Elis and the application help, too.Andrea and Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15337904921232330088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5241393111022392313.post-79905325738657594862008-05-06T00:02:00.000-04:002008-05-06T00:02:00.000-04:00Hi KimYou got some great effects! and most importa...Hi Kim
You got some great effects! and most importantly it sounds like you had fun! Great idea to use the cheesecloth to offset the clumping and make it more like sprinkling. The other thing I am wondering might be trying to sprinkle with an old salt shaker? namaste Elis.Elis Cookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16356124075860732313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5241393111022392313.post-91628413463072046642008-05-05T20:09:00.000-04:002008-05-05T20:09:00.000-04:00Hi Suki!Yes, these look really wonderful on tissue...Hi Suki!

Yes, these look really wonderful on tissue paper...I did a bit of that too. I sometimes use the tissue paper as a blotter of sorts with these kinds of things...or to kind of wipe off a brush or something...then they often work great as wrapping for a package.

I just might have to tear these up a bit...with the ink soaking through the paper it is so cool to tear it...the edges look wonderful.

Those powders sound like fun too. I purchased 2 others, but will play with them later.

Thanks for the reminder about the powder flying...I did wear a mask! A very good reminder, though...thank you.Andrea and Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15337904921232330088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5241393111022392313.post-25047760578375428452008-05-05T20:05:00.001-04:002008-05-05T20:05:00.001-04:00Chewy...you know me, I love to play!Chewy...

you know me, I love to play!Andrea and Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15337904921232330088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5241393111022392313.post-57367214217865925572008-05-05T20:05:00.000-04:002008-05-05T20:05:00.000-04:00Oh Boys Babs! I LOVE PearlEx metalic powders. I have three golds, silver, bronze and antique bronze and copper and antique copper. I use them often just mixing them with matte medium or acrylics. I have never tried doing it with inks though. Just be careful about breathing in the powder.

I really like your evocative experiments here. They might be turned into just about anything. When I make sheets like this, using tissue paper, I find endless uses for them often tearing them up into smaller pieces.sukipoethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09351851210507048174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5241393111022392313.post-46822493635245404802008-05-05T19:04:00.000-04:002008-05-05T19:04:00.000-04:00Fun!
