Celebrating YOU!

This blog award was given to me by Marianne and by Jess. Both of these women write the interesting and different kinds of blogs. If you have not read them, I urge you to check them out.

Clearly I hesitate to name names for this award, since I worry about leaving people out unintentionally. And it is Friday, so here is my gift to everyone who reads my blog and leaves a comment between now and Monday! Yes, enjoy this last weekend of summer in the Northern Hemisphere and have a cupcake (fairy cake) on me!

You are all so special to me and bring light into my life each day. Some days I come here not feeling so positive, but once I begin to read your blogs and your comments here, my day turns into glorious expression thanks to you!

And, you know, speaking of Monday.... don't forget the wonderful First Day of Autumn Picnic! Dig out those photos and find out what you want to bring. :) I do look forward to seeing you there!

So in the meantime, enjoy today's cake, consider the picnic and most of all...Enjoy The Weekend With Those You Love!

Kim I love this award-image:) And oh I almost forgot that I have to bring something to the picnic on Monday...:)
Hmmmm, I'll have to ponder that, a quarter of St. Nectaire Fromage and baguette bred or a bottle of nice red wine from the southeast of France, and potatoe chips (French love to have those for picnic:) and porc saussage airdried, and a tarte à l'abricot ou au citron.... Well.
I'll think about it:)
love

Oh Yummy Andrea! This sounds so fantastic for the picnic. And you know my favorite Norman "fromage"? Pont L'Eveque! It is the stinkiest, most delicious soft cheese I know. Now I will have to check out St. Nectaire Fromage, too. And how in the world can you have that without a baguette and a really nice red? Well, it is impossible. Of course, the sausage would be a perfect completion. Really "tarte a l'abricot ou au citron" (an apricot tart with lemon)? Now that sounds fabulous! Yummy!

Oh, now I am assuming you are thinking American Potato Chips...not pommes frites, right? You mean the same as the English call "crisps"?

Now this sounds just yummy...love the idea of that tart, too. Yes, I do want to come to your picnic!

Thanks Andrea!

Hi Cris, you have been so busy lately and it looks like it isn't over, yet. I understand that to be very sure. I feel like the last 6 weeks were full of very busy here.

Relax...now that sounds great! You will get there for sure.
