Hi Suki,

With my business partner, I wrote a series of interior design text books for a program in England a in the earlier part of this decade. It was an incredible process and my children's memory of that was me sitting in my favorite chair with my laptop (which has been replaced by now) typing my fingers off for years!

It was nothing near as exciting as "Chasing the Light"...I can tell you that! For me it was color theory, design, design business, drafting, material selection, contract and residential design, design psychology, presentation, graphics etc. They turned out nice, though.

Sorry to disappoint you...

I like these lists.
You see things you have in common, things not, surprises etc.
The question about the book is already answered I see.........cool

KIm, it sounds pretty wonderful and exciting to me!!! That is great and you have too gone through a long writing process with publication etc so you know what that is all about, similar in many ways for most books I think. Congrats

Hi Suki, You are so sweet to say so. It was an exciting process, but I am sure different from yours by a long shot. But I do value the experience a lot. Thanks Suki!

Hi Babs, yes, so sad it would be for anyone who could not note that #42.

Well, you know I don't normally post on Sunday, but I thought Marianne's game would be fun. I guess I am also a bit protective of other parts of my life...so here is a bit of a glimpse.

Thanks Babs!

Kim, I love the bookmark, great colours and it looks as if the lines have been drawn in ONE stroke!
And wow, what a list of things. It's interesting to read all the (creative) things you have done in your life, a real artist.
love
Andrea

Hi Andrea...you are right, one stroke!

LOL...you are funny! I never do these kinds of things, but thought Sunday might be fun for this. As you know, I am a little protective of my non-art life. This seemed harmless, though. At least I hope it is harmless and more humanizing.

Thanks Andrea!

Well oh, LOL, I'm most impressed about touching the cockroach and the stingray! but some other things are nice too! :)
I always thought, stingrays are the most beautiful creatures, floating graceously...

Oh Anderea, don't be impressed. The cockroach thing...it comes from living in Texas where those things are everywhere! I kid you not! You can't get around it if you live down there. The stingray was at a public aquarium, so it was in a very controlled setting. They are amazing, I agree!

Thanks Dear Andrea!

Exciting list of actions and I see that many are highlighted. You are quite the adventuress, achiever, nurturer. No wonder you've slept that many hours out of 48!

;-D

Beautiful bookmark too.

Hi San, I think I have just had a lot of opportunities...some taken and others not! Clearly were things on the list which just did not appeal to me to grab! :)

Well, I do love to sleep...if I had my choice, I would much rather sleep than eat (although, don't allow yourself to think I am a small person LOL)

Thanks San!
