I Need Your Help...

As some of you know, I have entered An Art Showdown at the Saatchi Gallery. I am humbly coming here to ask you to click on the link below to vote for me. The more stars you can find in your heat to give me or that you think this painting deserves, I would appreciate it.Click here to vote. "10" stars is the best and "1" is the least deserving (it is true some of my more logical friends questioned this fact). The details of this painting appear at the site.

The competition is a rather long term deal...I was not clear about it until this morning, actually. Apparently this week is open to voting, then the top two are chosen. Those two go head-to-head and the winner then is in a group of other winners later in the year.

I thank everyone who has already voted and thank everyone who will vote. If you do not feel moved to vote, then I thank you for taking the time to at least read this. I know your days are very busy.

Now, speaking of days...I am continuing to paint and take care of other issues, too. Things are going well and I look forward to talking here again soon.

Have a Beautiful Day wherever you are in the world.

Hi, I will vote for you. Reminds me of music, and Pollock in the 60s, it has energy. Well done and good luck!

Cris, I am so sorry you have tried so hard. If you can't get there, you just can't. Have you tried the link from here on this blog...I have no idea if that will make a difference or not.

I thank you so very much for all of your efforts in trying to help me here. It is so touching to know you have done all you can do!

Love,

Kim

It took me awhile but I finally did get in to vote. I hope it took. Very confusing. Lots of people have submitted paintings. Wishing you well in it.

Wasn't hard to give it a '10'.
Best of luck to ya Kim!
Is there a prize?

Cris, thank you. I am so sorry it took so long and felt so confusing to you. I appreciate your time and efforts, however.

There are a lot of submissions and I think many of them get lost in there. Saatchi is such a well known name in the art world...especially the European art world...that everyone wants a piece of him. :) For me, it is all about a little more exposure and this experience, too.

Thanks Cris!

Awe Babs, you are so sweet! These things are funny, because I think it helps to know a little more about the artists.

There are a lot of talented people in this one, so I am not sure what to think of it.

There is a prize, but not for quite some time. On Monday they will select the two works with the highest score and those two will have another go at it. The highest score of those two goes on to compete with 11 others in the same way later in the year. The overall winner receives 1000 Pounds (British Sterling) and the work will be presented at the brick and mortar Saatchi Gallery in London. The second place winner overall will receive 500 Pounds (British Sterling). So it is a rather long process.

Thanks so much for your support, Babs! You know how to make me feel like a queen :)

Love,

Kim
