Not-Typical Monday!

My apologies for today in not posting. I am not at my own computer at present, but I will have it back later today or in the morning.

In the meantime, let me know what you have been working on this weekend!

Have a Beautiful Day!

This weekend I worked on my YARD! Raking, picking up sticks, etc. But I read a how-to book on watercolor.

Hi Kate!

I hear you girl!

I like to read how-to books when I can't actually get to the act of doing...is that voyeurism?

It is great to hear from you, Kate!

Kim I hope you had a great weekend! I finished up a painting on watercolor paper yesterday and this morning, something not so fun. We had to go get the taxes done, but it's a relief to get it over with! :) I am terrible at putting things off and will definitely work some more on those questions you sent me the next couple days! :o I picked up a book the other day and it should take me a while to read. It's Ron Hubbard's 'Battlefield Earth' and has over 1,000 pages! I love reading sci-fi.

Hi Babs!

Here it was really rainy this past weekend. I was able to get a bit of sketchbook doodling done, but that is about it as far as art goes.

I can't wait to see what you come up with next...but I do have to visit some blogs here today!

Thanks Babs!

Hi Lynette!

Taxes! ARGH! I am like you with putting things off, but thankfully my husband is not like that! So he gets through all of that BORING stuff and everyone has their checks or had paid their charges!

Reading...I am also doing that. Right now I am reading "On Beauty" by Zadie Smith. I Love It! She also wrote "White Teeth"! I am glad you are enjoying your book, too!

Thanks Lynette!

Hello Andrea! I have missed being here talking, too! I like to have my quiet time when I am here and my parents really like to have conversations when I am there. :) If they had some fast speed service, I would take my computer with me and work away at night there, but that is not the case!

Snow! Oh boy! So you had a cold weekend. Well, it is lovely for painting as it seems as though you enjoyed! It is cold and wet here, too...no snow in our area, but north of here they have had some! Cold, wet Paris! It will warm up soon!

"The Timer Game"! I don't think I know that. Do you recommend it? What a lovely gift, though, from Axelle! She sounds like a very sweet girl!

Thanks Andrea! I hope it is warmer in Paris today and it is beautiful for you.
