A State of Mind...

You know how some days you just do not have much to say. I am there. :) So I thought I would show you this photo of a work in progress. Does it look like a jumbled mess to you? Maybe it is my state of mind. Have a Great Day!

Actually I think it is a brilliant depiction of MY state of mind. !! Glad you stopped in to say you had not much to say. Even that is something to say, no? Almost all of us bloggies feel that way on some days, I think. Be well, Suki

Thank you, Sweet Suki! I suppose you are right...at least stating I have nothing to say is saying something. I think you are right. I suppose I have been really inside my head a lot lately. When I get that way, it is kind of a matter of interpretation to decide what is going on.

I don't know, I think you have been getting some good thinking done...I suppose it is all a matter of perception, right?

Take Care, My Dear Friend!

Love,

Kim

I so relate,,,must have the bloggerblahs.
I spent today strolling through the art supply house.

I think this WIP looks just as it should. Chaos often comes before order,,,and I have no doubt you'll get there. I always like your woven pieces.

I'm with Babs- chaos usually comes before order. I see a work in progress and what looks like a woven painting. I'm intrigued!
It was a goal of mine to blog today and I didn't make it. Instead I got distracted by twitter.
Some days are just preparing us for another day.
Thanks for posting.

This makes me smile, and the comments too:) Great!
What I love here is the mix of mess and structure.

Ah, Thank You Babs! There is nothing to heal the blogger blahs like a walk through the art supply shop. I did an order today...feels good to know it is on the way. I am doing other things, just didn't really feel like going off here. :)

Thanks for understanding.

Love,

Kim

Yes, mess and structure...that tension I seem to find. Thanks, Andrea!

It is good to hear people understand this state so well.

Right now squares are informing my new work so this is pleasure...another way squares are being used! This piece has a look of weaving and I like it.

Im working on a woven piece too right now, mine with fabrics. I too wondered if I was making a mess but I see the beauty in it and in yours as well.
Fewer words are for peaceful quiet times...fine with me.

Hi Mary Ann,

Sometimes, I have these papers I have played with...they kind of hang around so I decide the thing to do is cut strips and weave them together. They are more crafty, but they are fun...sometimes.

Squares uh? Well, I am very eager to see where this square business takes you!

Have a Good Day!

Love,

Kim

Hello Marianne,

Thank you so much...what kind words you have for me today. This will look a bit different on a larger screen, that is to be sure.

I am glad you enjoyed your day at Robbeneiland and will be eager to hear all about it.

I am living a lot in my head right now. I am rather attached to doing that, so yes I am enjoying it.

Have a Wonderful Day!

I think I've had the 'bloggerblahs' too or maybe just the all-around art blahs. Kim, your weaving is looking good to me and seems to express lots of our states of mind lately. Maybe I'm just having the late winter blahs though. LOL my word verification is 'addly' just the way I'm feeling lol :)

Hi Lynette!

You know we get that sometimes. The thing is, I think we all have that from time to time. Sometimes, we also get pretty darn busy and sometimes we just don't feel like it. For me, I think I have gotten to the age where if I don't feel like it, then so be it! You know? :) We pick and choose...

Confusion, Lynette...a confused state of mind, I think. Addly...yes, that is a good word.

Maybe I have missed the winter blahs here. We sure haven't had much winter here.

Thanks Lynette...hope we can get sorted soon!

Love,

Kim PS Thanks for the kind words about the weaving.
