A Little Refreshment

Today I am sharing this cute little award image to anyone wishing to take it. Soulbrush presented me with this earlier this week. Don't you think it is refreshing?

I am continuing to work on our Thanksgiving celebration. It honestly is the cleaning I detest the most. :) If I can get through that, I can shop and cook the beginning of next week. Needless to say there is not any painting in my near future.

One thing I can do for you, though, is give you this award for honoring me with your presence and your comments, and I can wish for you to have a Very Beautiful Weekend!

Ahh, that Thanksgiving celebration - does everyone in America celebrate this? Kim, don't wear yourself out with all the cleaning and cooking!
Wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Dianne, well, I can't speak for everyone, but it is a national holiday.

I will probably do one post or so next week, so I will talk with you then.

Thanks for visiting me.

Kim, thinking of you as you-- ugh-- clean! And later cook. I hope you can take a week off to rest afterwards! Good luck with your feast. Blessings, suki

Thanks Suki! I have been thinking of you, too. I shall like taking that week off...maybe. I can tell you I would much rather cook than clean! :)

Hugs to you, Sweet Suki!

Hi Andrea, I have to say some of the most delightful Thanksgiving meals I have had have been with my European friends. This is the second Thanksgiving since returning to the US and we always think of our German and English friends. It was a huge challenge to cook this meal in our tiny, tiny cottage and to find the ingredients we needed, but it was so much fun.

I will write you about the foods.

It is great to have you back, Andrea!

Hugs!

That is a very cool award!

Oh,,cleaning,,,what I so desperately need to do.
(and won't, lol)
I always say if no company is coming, why clean? (and we aren't having any,,,just my b.i.l. & he doesn't count, hahahhaha.
I'm sure you will manage to get it all together and pull off one fantastic Thanksgiving for all who are attending.
Are you having houseguests? That was always the hardest part for me when we had large crowds,,,extra people to feed for a few days. Not everyone enjoys left over turkey for breakfast lunch and dinner.

PS: You won't believe it, but my word verification thing is "unchew"
How appropriate is that!
:-O

Kim,

Wanted to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving..
Ours will be quite simple this year as we still do not have a kitchen....
Maybe by Christmas! :)

Babs,

I hear you, why spend the time cleaning so much. There are so many more things I would much rather do.

I do have my niece and nephew staying one night with me. They are teenagers, so I am not so worried about the food issue. As far as I am concerned, if you don't like turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce for breakfast, lunch and dinner, then you will either have to cook for yourself or order take out. :)

That is really funny about the word verification. Only you, Babs! :)

Have a Great Day!

Hi Danielle,

Happy Thanksgiving to you, as well. Oh, no kitchen! That is brutal at holiday time. Well, maybe it is not brutal at all if you do not like to cook. I also think simple is great!

It is lovely to have you hanging out with us again, Danielle!
